JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary

Regal Boats is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern to support the design, testing, and integration of electrical systems across our product line. This internship provides hands-on experience working alongside experienced engineers through various phases of the product development cycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and production support.

The intern will assist with electrical system design, documentation, troubleshooting, and validation while gaining exposure to marine electrical standards, manufacturing processes, and cross-functional collaboration.

Required Qualifications

1. Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
2. Basic understanding of electrical circuits, power systems, and electronics.
3. Familiarity with electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
4. Experience or coursework using CAD or electrical design tools (AutoCAD Electrical, SolidWorks Electrical, or similar preferred).
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
7. Proficiency with Google Workspace or Microsoft Office.
8. Conversational English.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Interest in marine, automotive, or manufacturing-related electrical systems.
2. Hands-on experience through labs, projects, or previous internships.
3. Basic understanding of low-voltage and DC electrical systems.
4. Familiarity with industry standards such as ABYC (a plus, not required).
5. Passion for learning and willingness to take initiative.
6. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Work Environment

Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment where ambient air temperature may exceed outside air temperature and can reach over 100 degrees Fahrenheit at times.

Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a driven, execution-focused Project Manager to be responsible for leading the planning, development, and execution of Regal Boats’ new product initiatives from concept through production launch and market adoption. This role is responsible for owning the complete lifecycle of multiple concurrent new product development programs, ensuring scope alignment, timeline execution, cost control, and BOM accuracy across each project. This role oversees engineering project execution while serving as the tactical owner of product development programs.

This position drives cross-functional collaboration across Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Quality to ensure new models and product improvements are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with customer expectations and business objectives.

The role combines technical project management with product lifecycle ownership, ensuring Regal products remain competitive, innovative, and aligned with market needs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project & Product Development
1. Lead and manage new boat development projects from concept, prototype, validation, and production implementation.
2. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, budgets, deliverables, and bills of materials.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field or equivalent industry experience.

3. Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional technical or product development projects.
4. Knowledge of the boating industry and familiarity with major brands, features, and market trends.

This individual will work closely with the CAD II Designer and the Engineering Team to assist in the conceptualization and design of luxury, performance boats.

This role is responsible for designing, integrating, and validating critical onboard systems across our luxury recreational boats, including express cruisers, bowriders, surf series, and center console hybrids. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless system functionality, reliability, and compliance with industry standards. This position will be involved in concept development, prototyping, product introduction, and market adoption across the entire Regal product line from 20’-50’.

Key Responsibilities

1. Systems Design & Integration
   1. Tactical owner of systems design for Regal Boats.
   2. Develop and integrate navigation, plumbing, water, waste, fuel, HVAC, and control systems.
   3. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineering teams to ensure efficient system layouts.
   4. Optimize system placement and weight distribution to enhance performance, efficiency, and serviceability.
   5. Work closely with vendors to select, test, and validate components for production.
   6. Assist in the integration of marine electronics, lighting, and onboard automation.
2. Compliance & Testing
   1. Ensure designs meet ABYC, NMMA, USCG, ISO, and CE requirements.

Required Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Marine Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Rhino- preferred, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Catia, Pro-E, or AutoCAD).
3. Knowledge of marine propulsion, fuel systems, electrical networks, and onboard systems.
4. Strong understanding of ABYC, USCG, and NMMA regulations.
5. Experience with systems troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and failure mode testing.

1. Experience in common platform engineering for multi-model product lines.

This role combines technical expertise in FRP processes with day-to-day leadership of a team of 10–15 members.

You will inspect and verify the cosmetic and structural integrity of parts during and after the lamination process, playing a key role in supporting production teams and maintaining the high-quality finishes that define Regal Boats.

This role serves as a hands-on production supervisor responsible for leading technicians, ensuring electrical assemblies meet quality and safety standards, and delivering production targets that support on-time boat builds. This role plays a critical role in coordinating labor, troubleshooting electrical build challenges, training team members, and partnering with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to support Regal’s electrical systems across all boat models.

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Assembler. Assemblers are responsible for the installation and assembly of Regal’s boats following specific Workmanship Instructions (WI) for each model.

• Assemble parts onto the boat per the description of the Sales order by using the correct tools and proper methods to attain the correct standard in the installation.
• Follow proper safety requirements for the use of hand tools, drills, screw guns, and other equipment.
• Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. You are responsible for the quality of work you perform.
• Verify Sales Order for special options and ensure materials are on hand to complete daily production schedules.

Required Qualifications

• Be able to use a variety of hand tools. Ex. - razor knives, screwgun, drill and tape measure
• Must have basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical parts
• Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines
• Follow instructions of Leadership when doing miscellaneous duties
• Work with a team to complete daily tasks
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Able to keep the work area clean and orderly
• Conversational English

• Previous Manufacturing Experience

Summary 

Regal Boats is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our Upholstery team. The Industrial Sewer will play a crucial role in seaming pre-cut patterns to create complete parts, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing processes.

1. Set up industrial sewing machines, select proper thread, and perform minor adjustments and maintenance.
2. Check daily schedules, ensure proper inventory of materials, and align parts following specified markings.
3. Sew parts using various stitches and work with thick materials such as vinyl and canvas.
4. Trim excess threads and edges of parts for a finished appearance.
5. Prepare completed covers and upholstery products for delivery to assembly/tacking stations.
6. Adhere to schedules and deadlines, ensuring quality standards are met.

Required Qualifications

1. Minimum 2 years of experience with an Industrial Sewing Machine using single and double needles.
