Summary
Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as an Assembly Team Leader. Assembly Team Leaders are responsible for overseeing lamination processes and the efficient utilization of manpower to obtain maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures lamination manufacturing operations are in accordance with Regal's Quality Standards
Actively coaches and oversees Lead(s) and hourly Team Members (35-40 team members).
Trains and motivates Team Members to achieve the highest levels of productivity and quality.
Communicates daily schedule with production team members.
Tracks team member time and attendance according to Regal's Attendance & PTO Policy.
Troubleshoots issues on the production line related to the boat manufacturing process.
Works with other departments to ensure parts are completed according to schedule.
Produce manufacturing defect list, write Corrective Action Requests, answer technical questions and order appropriate materials.
Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable state and federal laws.
Interviewing team members, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and counseling team members, addressing complaints and resolving problems.

  14. Systematically use Corrective Actions to improve product quality.

Required Qualifications

  1. Relevant experience in marine industry or similar (automotives such as marine, auto, train, tactors, etc.)

  5. Lean manufacturing techniques

  3. A portfolio showcasing relevant design work is required for review.

  1. Grind all de-molded parts properly (hulls, decks, small parts).
  2. Collaborate with team members to lift and move deck parts to the cut & grind area.
  3. Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

  5. Inspect all parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
  6. Comply with all OSHA and safety procedures.

    Summary
    Regal Boats is seeking a motivated self-starter to join our team as a Robotic  Gelcoat Operator. Robotic Operators are responsible for operating the robot for gel coat application, part movement, upkeep, and preventive maintenance. 

     

    Key Responsibilities

    1. Verify Sales Orders for special options and ensure materials are on hand to complete daily production schedules.
    2. Load, unload and prep parts for the Gel coating process 
    3. Operators are responsible for gel coat Quality and will be required to identify the root cause(s) of any issues related to gel coat application and take corrective action.
    4. Perform regular visual inspections of the Gelcoat after it has been applied.
    5. Understand and resolve common system issues.
    6. Conduct regular preventative maintenance activities for painting equipment and monitor the performance of equipment.
    7. Support engineering with new product testing & integration 
    8. Understand the functions of FRP equipment, Air Pumps, Gauges, Valves, and Fluid systems as they relate to the Robotic Gel Coater.
    9. Fill out daily forms for robot startup and shutdown.
    10. Handle hazardous materials safely and follow proper safety requirements for the use of hand tools, drills, screw guns, and other equipment. 
    11. Inspects all parts after production to ensure that all parts are complete and up to quality standards. Work with Automation engineers, FRP Tech’s etc to address any additional quality issues you may identify.

     

    Required Qualifications

    1. Be able to read Sales Orders and schedules. 
    2. Must have strong attention to detail. This is especially Important.
    3. Basic Computer knowledge.
    4. Basic Mechanical skills. 
    5. Must be able to work under time constraints and deadlines.
